Honourable Chief Minister,

Subject: Petition to secure jobs for Kannadigas in Karnataka

Four years back, we elected you to be our Chief Minister with an immense hope that you will safegaurd our interests, our welfare and our survival. We were happy when an erudite statesman like yourself became our leader. Much to our anticipation, we also saw some fruits of our government's actions; Our capital city became the fastest growing city in the country. People from all other states started migrating to our cities in big numbers.

However, the irony of our success story is that, our success came to us with a big hidden expense that is threatening the very survival of Kannadigas in Karnataka. The hiring managers working in various companies in Karnataka have been employing unnecessary bias towards their people from their non-karnataka home towns. This fact holds good in many public sector companies as well as in private sector companies. Just to name a few: NAL, HAL, Southern Railways, Wipro, Tata Consulting Services, and the list goes on. Our Kannadiga talents have been unfairly neglected by the companies that operate in our own land.

We invited foreign investment to our land in anticipation that the incoming wealth will benefit our people. We expect that these companies respect the "Law of the Land" by providing employment to the local people. Contrary to this, we are seeing that these employers have been practising an unfair and highly biased hiring policies that is being detrimental to kannadigas.

We pay taxes to our government to protect our interests, to safegaurd us from unjust practices in our public life. We are looking forward for YOU to interfere in these practices and uphold the interests of kannadigas. You are the First Citizen of our state; You have the power and authority to bring the changes in favour of Karnataka people. Please be our TRUE LEADER and take action on this matter.

We hope that you will take action to secure the interests of kannadigas and make us to want YOU to be our Chief Minister again in the next elections. If you cannot be with us in the times of our need, then please dont contest next elections, but give way for someone who can fight for us, Kannadigas.
